Tesco Security Sleeves
The Challenge
Historically manufactured in fluted cardboard Tesco required a production method and process change that improved the in-store longevity of the product in this highest of traffic areas whilst reducing the in-store implementation of the product.
The Solution
The product needed to be printable, flexible and strong whilst simple in its construction and easy in its installation. Manufactured on a 100% recyclable polyethylene the printed product is welded to form a sleeve that can be easily slid over any specification of gate across the two thousand plus store Tesco estate.
The Results
A more cost effective, simpler yet stronger product that provides no compromise to the image of this essential POS item and prevented any requirement to make ongoing repairs to product in-situ. More importantly, the ease of use in-store reduced the implementation by up to 15 minutes per item, per store saving over 6000 installation man hours per campaign.
