The Challenge

To provide an innovative and never seen before display that can provide a choice of images or combination of two images during different times of the day.

The Solution

By using different materials and printing methods to provide varying opacity layers in a single print, 2 images can be displayed and will be visible depending on the ambient light in front of the display and the intensity of the back light behind the display. The JCDecaux Chameleon product is used in outdoor environments where images change between day time and night time lighting conditions.

The Results

For any size format Gardners provided a highly original solution to enable visual changes in a single printed poster. Used well this method of removing adding and changing images and messages provide a dramatic and memorable display.
